I think rotaries sound like 2 stroke weed whackers. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the engineering behind it, just not the buzz behind it.

There are so many awesome engine notes out there, and while I can see why people would love the insane rasp of a rotary engine, I'm more of a throaty beastly note person. Here are a few examples.
The muscular sound of a V8:
Or.. one of my all time favorites:
Or maybe the smooth powerful sound of a V10
But if you are into the jar of angry hornets sound of a Rotary.. maybe the rasp of a v6 will do just as well.
Or maybe the refined sound of a inline 6.
Heh, I could go on and on and on.
